Crossmedia campaign – USM project50
How might we revitalise a design icon for its 50th anniversary among today's architecture and design as the opinion leaders of tomorrow.
In 2015, USM Modular Furniture Haller will celebrate its 50th anniversary. To mark this milestone, USM is launching an international initiative called project50, designed to bring together future creative talents from all over the world. project50 starts with a week-long workshop in Boisbuchet, France - the USM Masterclass. Designers and architects from seven major academies around the globe have been challenged to «rethink the modular» with selected students.
Exploring the idea of modularity today, the cultural initiative of project50 continues with an international group show to be staged during the Salone del Mobile 2015 in Milan.
In addition to «rethink the modular», a large number of events are being planned at project50. All these events and activities will be documented and covered on a dedicated digital platform with a blog as the core element, featuring visual, written and audiovisual updates.
